Series of new thirteen annulated heterocyclic were prepared and screened for their antioxidant activities. The ethyl-4(2-cyanoacetamido)benzoate as a multifunctional component which possess both electrophilic nucleophilic centers that utilized in organic synthesis different candidates. These compounds studied antioxidants at concentrations based on DPPH ABTS assays using ascorbic acid standard antioxidant. most potent compound was 5 recorded the best with IC50 equal 0.006 mg/ml results. While study, 4 anticipated result 27.46 µM. Different reactive thermodynamic descriptors calculated preliminary step comparative study property. results clarified showed dependence SET–PT mechanism than HAT or SPLET mechanism. mechanisms depended parameters proton affinity electron transfer energy studied. dependent two descriptors: IP BDE observed less-valued site A 5.
